Gallery Dotwalk presents “A. A. Raiba: The Inner Contour” | Travancore Palace, New Delhi

Gallery Dotwalk unveiled A. A. Raiba: The Inner Contour at Travancore Palace, New Delhi, a landmark exhibition celebrating the artistic legacy of Abdul Aziz Raiba (1922–2016), one of India’s most remarkable yet under-recognized modernists. Curated under the guidance of Prof. R. Siva Kumar, the show presents over 90 works, including rare oil paintings, drawings, reverse glass paintings, artist books, and archival material. The opening night brought together leading figures from India’s art world, Ravinder Reddy, Arpana Caur, Manu Parekh, collectors, and curators for an evening of dialogue, reflection, and celebration.

Through Raiba’s plural, experimental practice and his journey from Sir J. J. School of Art to the landscapes of Kashmir, the exhibition traces a deeply personal and modern visual language that remains integral to post-Independence Indian art.
