American singer and actor Jessica Simpson has confirmed that she has parted ways with her husband Eric Johnson after 10 years of marriage. Amid the news of their separation, Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson put their multimillion-dollar mansion in Hidden Hills, Calif., back on the market just a few days before announcing their split.

According to a report on People.com, the singer’s Hidden Hills, California, mansion is currently on the market. The multimillion-dollar property has been home to the singer, her husband, and 3 children—daughter Maxwell ‘Maxi’ Drew, 12, and Birdie Mae, 5, and son Ace Knute, 11, since 2013.

The singer confirmed the separation news to TMZ and shared that she and Eric are now only focusing on what’s best for their children.

As per the Page Six report, the lavish property is a beautifully curated seven-bedroom, 13-bathroom, 13,274-square-foot estate that was listed on January 11 for $17.9 million, which is an 18.6 per cent decrease from its first sale price, according to online real estate records.

The property boasts city lights and mountain views and was first on the market on September 19, 2023. During the same time, Simpson moved to Nashville, but it was then removed by August 2, 2024.

Meanwhile, Simpson had earlier put up the property for sale in September 2023 with a higher price tag of $22 million, but it was removed in August 2024 as they failed to find a buyer during that time.

According to reports, Jessica revealed that she was going through a ‘painful situation’ in her marriage with Eric Johnson. She said that she and Eric had been living separately for a long time. Currently, they are only focusing on their children.

Moreover, Jessica Simpson first raised eyebrows about the problems in her marriage after she was seen without her wedding ring at multiple events in 2023. However, the family maintained silence on the rumours.

The couple met each other in 2010 and got engaged that same year, and in 2014, Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson tied the knot in a grand wedding ceremony.
