Gwyneth Paltrow has set her vision for the next year as 2024 nears an end.

The Iron Man actress, 52, took to Instagram with both personal goals she has listed for her wellbeing in the next year as well as things she had to leave behind.

In the post, which she explained was lifted from a December 29 Goop newsletter, she wrote, “My friend got me a numerology reading, and I learned I’m in a nine year, which is year of completions and endings. I had a few very strong lessons around completing certain things. I had a bunch of goodbyes this year. I had some revelations that led to the ends of things.”

She continued about her understanding of numerology, discovering that 2024 was ” a year of endings” for her.

“The numerologist contextualised all of this for me, but this year was about learning to understand that it was a year of endings. And that sometimes those endings have been really painful and have come with big change and recalibrations.”

She then continued on a positive note, admitting, “I’ve learned to loosen my grip on things and deeply learn to let go. And also to understand that everything is always happening for your highest good, even if it’s super uncomfortable.”

Following that, the carousel then revealed in each slide something she’s “let go of” this year, beginning with “the phase of life where everyone is always under one roof” as she referred to her daughter Apple Martin, 20, who is already enrolled in a college and her college-ready son Moses Martin, 18.

Other things include “a bunch of goodbyes,” “our home,” “some very cherished colleagues,” “Los Angeles” and “a dog,” referring to her canine named Nero.

Paltrow revealed that she also let go of “some people who were not right for me,” “the idea that I can correct misperceptions, and “believing self-limiting beliefs,” something she noted she was “still working on.”

Paltrow then listed her goals for 2025, which include “feel better,” “crush it at work,” “continue to be able to have tough conversations,” “continuously reassess everything,” “look at things in a new way,” and “surprise myself.”
