Tate McRae channels inner Swiftie during latest concert

Tate McRae delights fans with Taylor Swift cover at new show

Tate McRae fulfilled fans’ Wildest Dreams during the latest show of her Miss Possessive Tour by performing the 1989 song.

The 22-year-old Canadian pop star, who is famously a fan of Taylor Swift, covered Wildest Dreams in a soundcheck before the show, putting her own spin on the fan-favourite track.

The performance soon went viral on social media and had fans talking.

One X user wrote, “Tate’s voice has a naturally glossy, almost ‘processed’ smoothness to it, like there’s already a bit of reverb and tuning built into it. Love it!,” while another added, “MOTHER MOTHER.”

A third chimed in, “tatelors are eating SO good lately omg,” referring to McRae and Swift’s fans.

Complimenting the song choice, one social media sleuth wrote, “Taste. Best song ever released.”

Another heaped on praises, writing, “better than the original,” and “I’m obsessed with this cover,” wrote another, while one gushed, “OKAY VOCALS.”

This comes after the greedy hitmaker recently spoke about the Eras Tour performer during a red-carpet appearance.

When asked about her reaction to Swift praising her song, Tit for Tat, McRae shared that her excitement was unmatched because of her lifelong admiration for the Love Story songstress.
