Scout Willis backs sister Tallulah’s comment on Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher divorce

Scout Willis on Tallulah’s comment on Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher divorce

Scout Willis is sharing her thoughts on how her famous family has navigated divorce—with love, grace, and just a sprinkle of online vulnerability courtesy of her sister, Tallulah.

The singer, 33, had nothing but praise for how her mom Demi Moore and stepdad Ashton Kutcher handled their high-profile split.

Reflecting on it during a red carpet chat with Entertainment Tonight, she said, “I think, since my parents divorced when I was young, it’s always been handled with absolute grace and love, and I think that really is the way forward for everything.”

And if there’s a parenting handbook floating around Hollywood, it sounds like Bruce Willis and Demi Moore could’ve written it.

“It’s just like putting the children first and just handling everything with a lot of mutual respect,” Scout added, giving props to her mom and dad’s approach through it all.

Her comments followed some very real reflections from younger sister Tallulah Willis, 31, who made a rare appearance in the Instagram comments section—aka today’s most unexpected therapy couch.

Under a post from Gwyneth Paltrow about blended families, Tallulah chimed in, “I have a lot to say on this! Especially how to move through an ex-step parent.”

When a curious fan asked if she meant Ashton Kutcher, her mom’s ex-husband from 2005 to 2013, she didn’t dodge the question.

“This maybe should have been a private message lol but yes I have personal experience with this,” Tallulah replied.

Then came the wisdom, “It’s an important conversation tbh. Also. No one needs to be a bad guy for a situation to be healed. there’s room for everyone.”

Scout, ever the supportive sibling, had the perfect response to her sister’s candid take. “Well, Tallulah is nothing if not vulnerable and wonderful online,” she said with a smile.

Kutcher, who married Moore in a private ceremony back in 2005 and became stepdad to Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah, officially filed for divorce in December 2012 after they announced their separation the year before.
