Princess Eugenie appears to have taken a daring step as her father Prince Andrew is going through another.
The youngest daughter of Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, who had remained out of the public eye since before the royal family’s Christmas celebrations, joined the list of high-profile participants for a secret London group.
The mother of two, participated in an hour-long immersive event, which is described as “an experience for one audience member at a time”, according to inside sources.
The event is a secret interactive theatre show, You Me Bum Bum Train, which was attended by the royal member, after infamous British celebrity James Corden recently volunteered for the cast.
The play is a “magical journey” in which audience members go “beyond their everyday lives and have a range of experiences that would not normally be possible within a lifetime”.
Per the source cited by The Sun, the location of the event is kept a mystery as it takes place in a deserted London office building. The theatre is described to be “physically challenging and intense” and participants asked “to sign a non-disclosure agreement”.
Eugenie, who was accompanied by her husband Jack Brooksbank, was the “biggest name this run” despite being was part of the “largest celebrity group yet”.
The play could have been a way to get away from the ongoing family drama, especially the one concerning her father, who has chosen to go into a recluse to avoid further humiliation.
The shamed royal reportedly told his pals that he is trying to stay hidden in the shadows after causing a national security issue with his spy scandal. Moreover, Andrew is also in a limbo over his Royal Lodge, as King Charles is contemplating his next step for the royal property.
Previously, Princess Beatrice and Eugenie had been rallying around Andrew to help support their father, before the Sandringham Christmas gathering – from which Andrew was forced to withdraw from.
However, well-placed sources explained that Andrew is “doesn’t seem aware of the toll his constant needs are taking on” on his daughters and ex-wife Sarah Ferguson.
This may have served as an escape for Eugenie, who also opted to celebrate the festive holidays with her in-laws rather than the royals.
