Kelly Osbourne makes sweet gesture to cheer up mum Sharon after Ozzy’s death

Kelly Osbourne has tried to bring smile to her mum, Sharon, as she celebrated her first birthday since the death of Ozzy.

The Black Sabbath frontman passed away at the age of 76 on July 22, just two weeks after performing a farewell concert with his bandmates at Birmingham’s Villa Park.

Taking to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, Kelly shared a sneak peak of the birthday decorations she managed to set up for her mum while she slept.

She said: ‘Shh!! So it’s my mom’s birthday today, and I just decorated her room.’

Kelly showed off her camera skills by panning the camera towards a plethora of floating balloons and wrapped gifts, before revealing Sharon, who turned 73, still asleep in bed.

She added: ‘And she’s still sleeping.’

This comes after Sharon stunned fans with her heartbreaking appearance, as she was seen for the first time since Ozzy’s funeral.

Prior to the tragedy, Kelly had opened up about Ozzy’s health during what turned out to be her last interview before his death.

Following the news of his passing, Sharon opened up on social media to thanks fans for the ‘overwhelming love and support’ shown towards her by his fans.

Her son Jack said on Good Morning America on Tuesday: ‘She’s Okay, but she’s not okay. I know she feels the love.’
